Although I had visited the museum before, I had not known about Van Gogh’s liking for Japanese art and that he had produced a number of pictures in the Japanese-style.

The first one is definitely my favorite, for its warm contrast and lovely atmosphere!
They are very different to the normal Van Gogh style
Indeed, I love when artist try to experiment with new styles. This is also a way through we get to see how talented they are.
