Seabirds at risk

Busy day but kept my eyes open as I travelled around. The best sighting was a female House Sparrow which disappeared beneath the roof tile of a house where presumably it is nesting. Once the commonest bird in our gardens it is now something of a rarity in this area. There have been many suggestions for the decline including loss of potential nest sites and the decline in natural food due to changes in gardens and gardening practice.
