Two pictures of the Blackeye galaxy taken using the Bradford Robotic telescope
The Blackeye galaxy (M64 or NGC 4826) was discovered in 1779. It contains a large dust cloud in the centre of the galaxy which absorbs light and gives rise to its name.It contains evidence of two colliding galaxies.
