Watching the garden in the late afternoon and noticed 3 Thrushes in a tree. I wondered if these were the Mistle thrushes from yesterday but closer examination showed that it was 2 song thrushes and the first Redwing of the winter – clearly identifiable, even at distance, by the promiant eye stripe which is unique to this species.
