This saloon car was built in 1947 and exported to madras in India, where it remained until it was purchased by Mick Jaggers production company in 2000 for use in the film Enigma. On its return to the UK it was converted from a saloon to a tourer. Notice the blackout headlights.
Bletchley Park revisited (4): 1947 Sunbeam Talbot

Hi, The Sunbeam Talbot was converted in India and sold as a tourer in New Delhi. The log book shows it had had quite a few owners & had travelled all around the sub continent. The black-out lenses were added for the film as was the white edging paint. I made the windscreen frame out of brass channel, to look like a genuine tourer.
