There are a number of Statues of Queen Victoria in London. This one stands just outside the grounds of Kensington Palace. It is of the newly crowned Queen Victoria, aged 18, in her coronation robes.

Kensington Palace was the birthplace of Queen Victoria and her home for her entire life prior to her accession to the throne at the age of 18. It was here that she received the news of her accession in 1837.
It was designed by her daughter Princess Louise and unveiled in 1893 as part of the celebrations for Queen Victoria’s 50 years as monarch.
