Visit to Gravesend

Met Keith in Gravesend and we went for a walk along the riverfront up through the fort and the the park before returning to the riverfront for the walk back.

There were a good selection of wading birds and Gulls on the mudflats including Dunlin, Redshank, Oystercatcher and Curlew. In the Gardens we found a group of Chiffchaff, probably on migration, and a number of other woodland species.

We also saw a Small White Butterfly and 2 Red Admirals, an indication of what a mild day it was.
