At the end of last week Sue, Jasper and I returned to Footscray Meadows for a walk and another chance for me to try and find the Goosander, which I had failed to do the week before. As usual Jasper led the way.
When we arrived at the bridge I surveyed the Lake and immediately found the Goosander amongst the other waterfowl.
I made my way up onto the bridge and was able to get some closer shots.
We continued our walk along the lake and the river before returning to the bridge and back to where we had parked the car.
