A spring morning walk

Saturday 9th March 2013

It was a typical spring morning, slightly misty and so I decided to take a walk around the Tarn and see what was on my patch. I was fortunate to see both the Green and Greater Spotted Woodpeckers as well as my first sighting of Dunnock on the patch this year. Later as I got towards the wood I could hear the Greater Spotted Woodpecker drumming on a tree.
