M15 (aka NGC7078) is a globular cluster seen in the constellation Pegasus. At an estimated 12 billion years old it is the oldest known globular cluster in the Milky Way. It is also one of the most densely packed and has more than 100,000 stars contained within it. It is 33,600 light years from earth and has a diameter of 175 light years.
