Messier 4 (NGC6121) is a globular cluster in the constellation Scorpius close by the bright star Antares. The cluster numbers >20,000 stars and is home to a large number of white dwarf stars and some pulsars. It has been estimated that some of the white dwarf stars in the cluster are among the oldest found in the Milky Way.
