Knepp

During our trip to Sussex we visited the Knepp Estate, one of the largest and most famous rewilding sites in The UK.

On our walk we saw a number of White Stork nests.

Other interesting sightings included a Yellowhammer, once a common bird of the countryside, but sadly now in decline. So it was good to see this one.

The best sighting of the day, however, was a Purple Hairstreak butterfly.
