One of my jobs this week was to transfer all my photos (2007-19) off the computer hard disk onto an archive disk to free up space. As is always the case when I do jobs like this I started looking at some of the shots I had taken in years gone by.

Here are some shots taken over the years of the Autumn colours in our garden

The autumn trees in the garden are one of my favourite subjects for photography. This year I didn’t really get around to photographing them in their splendour, but now as autumn slips into winter there are still some holding on.

One of the delights of the walk in Danson Park yesterday was the array of autumn colours on display.

It is so easy to just look at trees and dismiss them. They are so common – But just stop for a moment and look closely. Apart from the habitat they provide for other living creatures, the wood itself can be colourful and attractive.

Here are some of my favourite tree photographs:

Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year. I just adore the glorious colours of the leaves on the trees.
