Watching the garden this morning – the usual suspects are present. Strange sighting of Nuthatch peeking into nesting box 2 which we think has resident Blue Tits. This was the same box where the Treecreeper was chased off from a couple of days ago. There was no repeat this time and the Nuthatch spent 5 minutes looking in through the entrance hole before eventually flying off. Middle of the morning a party of 10 Jackdaws arrived in garden. This continues the recurrent sightings of this species which until recently had been seen only a few times over the past ten years.
