Many people seem to dislike the Grey Squirrel blaming them for dislodging our native Red Squirrel. But I think it is unlikely that Red Squirrels were ever as widely spread as some people would believe. They have a very particular diet and this is one of the reasons why the Grey has been able to flourish (It is less fussy than the Red about what it eats)
Anyway whatever the case, I must confess to enjoying the antics of the Grey in our parks and on our feeders
