A bright sunny morning and decide to take a walk in Eltham Park and Oxleas Meadows.

This is an area of woodland and open grassland and forms part of the woodlands and heaths that form the major natural habitat in South East London.

There were good numbers of common bird species were present the highlight of which was my first local sightings of Common Swift this year as two wheeled overhead.

Back home the afternoon sunshine produced Large White and Brimstone butterflies.
