Greenwich Walk: Greenwich Peninsular

A walk along the river Thames at Greenwich Peninsular. I started at the Ecology Park, where the Coots were busy building their nests.

Arriving at the River near the Yacht Club and turning north

The sun was shining but there were few birds on the river apart from a flock of Black-headed Gulls and a couple of Common Gulls.

Eventually I came to the IFS Cloud cable car, which crosses the Thames.

Eventually arriving at the O2 arena.

A pleasant river-side walk

  1. Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park is quite an oasis. I did a project with them back in 2023 and my little birdwatching pocketbooks are available there. It was fun to do! I saw my first Sand Martin when I was running a workshop there.
