Oh that Goldcrest!
Ah this is more like it – a bright spring day. Morning at home working – plenty of bird activity in the garden and then off over to Wandsworth. Kept my eyes open whilst traveling and Clapham Common turned up both an Eygptian goose and a Great Cormorant near the ponds, as well as the usual residents.
On return home went for a walk to far end of estate which backs onto the Wood and was rewarded with sight of Goldcrest, a patch list first. Early evening a Grey heron drifted over the garden presumably on its way to roost on the Tarn.
