Druridge bay is a long sweeping bay on the Northumbrian coast, south of the village of Amble. The first stop was at Ladyborn Lake in Druridge Country Park.

Grey Heron, Mallard and Mute Swans were present together with a Little Grebe.

The next stop was at Cresswell Ponds, a group of pools just behind the sand dunes.

On the islands there was a small party of dunlin plus a single Knot. At the end of far end of the pool was a single ringed plover together with a pair of Common Terns.

The final stop was Druridge Pools. Like Cresswell this is an area of water and grassland just behind the sand dunes.

Here there was a small group of Black-tailed Godwit together with small parties of Wigeon and Teal, alongside a number of Grey Heron and some Lapwing with young..
